Look
for markets with long term expansion. I.e. where your products will fit
in and where you achieve a long term result.
Look
where in the phase they are in their development. Sometimes you have to
wait until they are ready for your products. E.g. if you are selling telecommunication
equipment. Look at countries with low percentage of phone users, but where
you know in order for country to expand they need to build up their telephone
system. China is one example of these countries.
