An Export Work Day or Weekend Exporting is team work. As a company owner or manager, you sometimes need to reactivate your employees to obtain that extra zest in your marketing department. Exporting is a job that demands updating, reactivating, and refreshment of knowledge. You also need some new ideas, especially since the market is constantly changing. We have a practical seminar for those who wish to start, or maybe simply improve, their export. The seminar is held at your place of business and is customized for your company and your products. We also run open seminars where the participants represent many different companies. The export day provides a practical approach to everything from selecting your market to activating your representative. This seminar is interactive and the participants are presented with many practical examples and activities. Your personnel is forced to activate themselves with respect your company's products. Below you will find the contents of a typical one day seminar. This day will be interspersed with practical group work, in smaller groups, that will address your company's specific needs. Exporting:
Since this program is customized to meet the needs of the individual organizations, we suggest that you involve as many people as possible from different departments in the organization. Exporting demands team-work; and therefore, it is important that every one in the company team participates. We suggest that the General Manager or another decision maker participates, since we need to make decisions during the export day. Everyone in the marketing department who is involved in exporting should participate e.g. Director of Marketing, Director of Export, the sales people involved with export, the order department etc. It is also important to include the service department, as well as R&D, the shipping departments, as well as the accounting department, reception staff and secretaries. To foster good debates and group discussions it is important to have a small intimate team; therefore we will limit the group to 20 - 25 participants. The conference can take place between 8am - 5pm during the week or over the week-end, or even better, from lunch one day to lunch the next day. The latter suggestion makes it possible to take advantage of the evening to work in small teams. Does this sound interesting? Contact us to discuss your needs and we will give you more detailed information and suggestions. |
